2013 C.J. RAMSTAD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
    

    ISMC invites all states and provinces who hold their own scholarship award program to submit their single best winning applicant for consideration by May 1, 2013. Judging will be done by the ISMC Scholarship Committee and the winner will be awarded a $1000 scholarship. The winner of the C.J. Ramstad Memorial Scholarship will be announced at the 2013 International Snowmobile Congress.

    Applicant must be a member in good standing of their state/provincial snowmobile association.  Only one winning entry from each state/province may be submitted, and the ISMC Scholarship application must be completed in full. Please include the essay that was required of them when he or she won your scholarship, along with a photo of the applicant.

The scholarship committee will judge all applications and determine the qualified recipient(s).  Applications must be complete and will be judged on neatness, accurate spelling, correct grammar, and school and community involvement.
 
    Essays will be judged on the knowledge of snowmobiling portrayed, neatness, spelling, grammar and writing style.  Applicants may be interviewed.  All decisions of the scholarship committee are final.
 
    Scholarship funds will be awarded when the school of choice confirms enrollment.  Completed applications, applicant photos, and essays should be mailed to Matt Mead, 440 McKee Rd., Selah, WA 98942, or e-mailed to matt.mead@wssa.us.  (If e-mailed, please ensure you receive a confirmation.  If mailed, please include an e-mail address for the state/province's scholarship chairman.  You can call Matt at [509] 697-6062.)
